An OpenCart Store for a Watch Brand’s India Distributor

A Swiss watch brand’s India storefront, by collection

Bomberg India is the Indian distributor for the Swiss watchmaker. Bomberg buyers shop by collection - BB-01 Automatic, and the Bolt-68 line in its Neo, Racing and Heritage variants - and the India storefront had to present exactly the collection structure the brand is known for, with nothing invented alongside it.

What we built

• Collections as the primary navigation: BB-01 Automatic, Bolt-68 Neo, Bolt-68 Racing and Bolt-68 Heritage are the way in, matching how the brand is organised globally.
• Brand presentation held intact: a distributor storefront that drifts from the parent brand’s look costs the brand more than it gains, so the visual language follows it.
• Built on OpenCart: a self-hosted store, which keeps the catalogue and customer data with the distributor rather than on a subscription platform.
• Sized to the catalogue: a focused range of Swiss-made timepieces needs merchandising, not a marketplace, and the build reflects that.

The result

An OpenCart store where an Indian buyer reaches a Bolt-68 variant in one step and sees the brand as the brand presents itself everywhere else.
